(This article first appeared in the "Mercury Direct" section of The Mountain Astrologer, Dec 2003.)
The Hypochondriac, the Critic, the Fragmented Child and the Rebel all have something in common. Add to that the Codependent and the Crisis Junky, what do you get? Well, the subpersonalities of a psyche. And as you might have guessed, these subpersonalities show up in your birth chart. A new contributor to Aspects, Jacqueline has decided to bear not quite all in an exploration of the mysterious twelfth house by looking at some of the implications of her own 'well endowed’ one. Fixed stars have a bad rap in most branches of astrology, except for a fortunate few such as Sirius and Regulus which are seen as most fortunate. But just as there is yin and yang energy to everything, even the 'malefic' fixed stars can show us a place of opportunity when viewed not only in conjunction with your natal planets, but by direction as well. |

From the Galactic Times - 10 April 2007
When Eris was named and astrologers had a look at the mythology, the burning question was, 'Where is the humanity of Eris?' Where would we find the leavening drop of caring in the goddess of chaos? There is hope after all and from another wanderer from the outer reaches of our solar system. |

Free Will vs Fate is a debate that has been raging since the dawn of astrology. Some believe our charts are a blueprint of the lives we chose to live that we cannot escape, while others see it as an obstacle course that can be transcended. Personally, this is a question that will never be laid to rest completely. If nothing else, you'll be thinking about it. |
