This is an inquiry into a fundamental problem that has to do with the tropical versus sidereal zodiac controversy and how it pertains to the practice of ancient astrology. It involves the very ancient practice of granting periods of years to the signs of the zodiac according to rising times. First of all let us define what is meant by the term "rising times." |

During Pluto's passage through Sagittarius, the world's pace accelerated – an idea very much in keeping with Sagittarius' ‘push for the horizon' energetic. Now as Pluto moves into Capricorn, things may appear to slow down - Capricorn describes a phase of life which is diligently dogged in its pursuits, but seldom hurried. So no matter what happens during these coming years, don't think life's evolutionary forces have ground to a halt – they haven't. |

"The relationship is a support group."...
The astrologer prepares the measurements from the past into the future. Our consultation reveals dynamics of past developments. We establish our clients' strengths, weaknesses and defenses. This is the process of identification between astrologer and client.
The astrological projections ideally go into the future to a major angular contact or major aspect formation that is singularly remarkable. Working from such a target of measurement formation, defines the future goal. A time strategy is revealed and it is often remarkably helpful. Continuity from the past through the present period is really appreciated in depth. |

Sun. The Evolutionary Intention here centers on the transformation and purification of ego-consciousness, values, and self-imagery through an immersion in radical honesty and commitment. All rough edges and unresolved issues must be exposed and smoothed in the alchemical process of compassionate mutual psychological confrontation. Implicit here is a reference to a reaction against unresolved, prior-life issues involving oppressive conformity to "polite" or "appropriate" patterns of rationalization and denial. The partner must be willing to face darkness and woundedness, humbly and truthfully, both in the Self and the Other. |

It's safe to say that society gets around to labeling as "genius" those who are highly developed individualistically and uniquely productive to world-impacting excess. Such a person's portion of genius necessarily shows itself early in life –it becomes clear early.
Precociousness (from the Latin praecox , "early ripening") is mesmerizing for us to see, to experience, because it takes us other mere mortals out of the commonplace, well beyond normal expectations. We are seeing something truly different, which shows, which dramatizes, the complex, inscrutable miracle of being. |
