Becoming a member of the Astrological Society of South Africa is a simple three step process.
Step One - download the membership application form (Membership Application.xls) and fill in your details.
Step Two - Pay your membership fee into bank account ( R400 / R200) as detailed on the membership form.

You may be listed as a practitioner in the free classifieds section on the web site provided the service you offer is relevant to astrology or a related field - please forward your details and a brief biography to Gail Gardner, web site facilitator.
ASSA will link your web site to ours provided this link is reciprocated and is relevant to astrology or a related field- please forward web site details to Gail Gardner, web site facilitator.
You may advertise on the home page of the ASSA web site - the rate for banner advertising is R500 for a one-off insertion (1 month) and R300 per month if the ad is placed for a minimum of 6 months. Once again the services offered must have relevance to astrology or a related field. Please contact Gail Gardner in this regard.
You may submit details to me for a "flyer" which will be circulated as a newsletter to all members and non members - this flyer will reach in excess of 500 people and must be relevant to astrology or a related field. The cost for this is R350 for a one-off circulation and R600 for 3 newsletter circulations.
You receive an electronic magazine called Aspects every 2 months at no charge - both local and international authors are published.
Previous magazines going back 18 months are available to you.
You receive free entrance to the monthly talks which are held at Old Eds in Houghton on the second Tuesday of every month at 7pm. We endeavour to host a variety of astrological topics as well as some in related fields.
Should you wish to be invited as a guest speaker to one of these talks, please contact Cindy Lubner, events coordinator.
The talks are taped and loaded onto the website within 6 weeks so if you miss a talk, you can still listen to it. Again talks for the last 2 years are available on the website.
There is optional membership to the ASSA library which houses an extensive range of books that you can then enjoy at your leisure.
Members will be issued with identification cards and these may be presented to our lifestyle partners in order to qualify for the discounts on their services. The full list of lifestyle partners and their services will be available on the web site.
None of the above benefits are available to non members. - Full membership to ASSA is only R400 per annum.
Once your application has been received, Philip will process your application and assign you a member number. You will also receive a Username and Password to access the members only articles and downloads on the website.
