June 2006 E-mail
Written by Cindy Lubner
Thursday, 29 June 2006

With the Sun moving into Cancer on the 21st of June, we all celebrated the solstice - winter of us folks in the Southern Hemisphere. Cindy takes a look at what else is in store for us over the coming month.

Sun Enters Cancer - Ingress June 21 at 14:27

Expression of self is creatively conveyed through emotion. Levels of vitality are dependent on moods and are very difficult to maintain. Go ahead and nurture those sensitive mothering qualities, not only for the cosmic family (that of course being human kind), but for the self as well.

Jupiter square Saturn June 22

Actions may show a lack of courage, which comes from a tendency to compare your own abilities to the skills of others, believing that you are less competent. Faith is the greatest ally when nothing seems to work, it will sustain you and assure you that your goals are achievable if you only trust.

Venus enters Gemini - Ingress June 24 at 02:32

Affection is articulated verbally, cleverly, lightly and playfully. Venus is now attracted to changeable curiosity, talkativeness and friendliness. No point in cementing lasting relationships, a need for variety and constant new stimuli might prove to be a distraction!

Mercury enters Leo - Ingress June 28 ay 21:58

Communication is coloured by a sense of drama, humour and creative flair. On the reflective side, the ego’s involvement with the thinking process can obliterate objectivity and limit flexibility and the retention of facts.

Mercury Retrograde - Ingress July 4 at 21:34 - Direct July 29 at 02:41

In retrograde the planet of intellect is already less inclined to objectivity, moving from Leo into Cancer (July 10th) a water sign causing information to be highly subjective. No matter how factual we think we are, the filter of feelings tends to bend reality in a way that’s harder for others to understand.

Jupiter Direct - Retrograde since 6 March 2006

Hidden treasures are revealed with Jupiter in Scorpio. Unpleasant secrets may be divulged especially for Scorpios (but then nothing is more healing than a heartfelt confession of past sins). Honesty can transform even the most embarrassing revelations from deep dark deficits into copious assets.

Venus enters Cancer - Ingress July 19 at 21:42

There is a need to nurture and be nurtured, to feel part of a family in order to be comfortable. The ‘goddess’ herself becomes rather sensitive and can be easily hurt. With a dignified exterior she will hide behind her vulnerability, not revealing her sensitivity and pain. Demonstrative affection will comfort her and reveal a sense of security.

One may indeed say that it is not the event that happens to a person, but the person that happens to an event.
