As the old year draws to a close, in this last edition of Planetary Diary for 2006, we take a look at what the heavens have in store for us in the New Year
p align="justify">Mercury enters Capricorn - Ingress 27 December at 22:56
Communication is coupled with a serious and cautious tone. This control to express one's perceptions can cause a kind of inhibiting expression of self. Focus on possibility rather than limitation and persistence and steady progress is bound to bring satisfaction.
Pluto conjunct Galactic Center - 29 December 29 at 26:55 Sagittarius
A time of great chaos or a time of great consciousness and healing are at hand. This event occurs every 248 years and it is here in our lifetime to experience. We may perceive this to be a great gift or an awful curse. The Sabian symbol 27 Sag - 'The Sculptor's vision is slowly but surely taking form.' The 'Sculptor's vision' is an image of some desired shape or outcome, a picture that is projected out onto the world through creative work. The fact that the vision is slow but surely taking form shows us that slow and sometimes painstaking work is needed to work towards something that is truly worth the time and effort.
Mars enters Capricorn - Ingress 16 January at 22:55
Mars in its exaltation brings decisiveness accompanied by careful planning, calculation and patience. Extend your physical energy and drive towards a personal goal. Pursue your desires steadily and persistently through conventional channels. Assuming responsibility attains position and prominence.
Sun enters Aquarius - Ingress 20 January at 13:02
Creative energy is directed toward society's welfare coloured by freedom, eccentricity and experimentation. No time for affectation or snobbery. This is a wonderful time to be in the company of others. Take note of apprehension and nervousness, increasing your vitamin B complex is a sensible idea.
Venus enters Pisces Ingress 18 January 28 at 05:33
Time to dig into that sensitive, kind and compassionate side of yourself. Feelings of closeness with another are influenced by a soul yearning and an urge to mingle psychically with another. This need for magical harmony is deeply felt but desires can become unfocused and vague, leading to an increased vulnerability.
Mercury enters Pisces - Ingress 2 February at 11:21
Compassion motivates us to express perceptions and intelligence sympathetically. Verbal energy is inspired by flexibility and the power of synthesis. Communicate sensitively and poetically, taking note that reason, and the power of discrimination may have the opportunity to become clouded and confused.
Mercury Retrograde - Ingress 13 February at 10 deg 13 Pisces
No matter how factual we think we are, the filter of feelings tends to bend reality in a way that's harder for others to understand. If you use images and symbols and are more sensitive to the tone and rhythm of your voice, you can open channels of intuitive connection where logic is likely to fail. Reviewing our feelings can only take us to a more stable place
where common sense and judgment are intact.
Sun enters Pisces - Ingress 19 February at 03:10
Creative energy is expressed sensitively. There is a radiance and spirit of compassion towards those that suffer. Be aware one's sense of individuality may loose focus due to the empathy and involvement in the lives and tribulations of others. In owning your strength you may be able to sacrifice a lot more.
