The Justice card is one of great interest to me as simply by looking at it, you are immediately filled with both a sense of relief and fear... On the one hand, the significator carries the 'scales', suggesting that balance be restored while in the other, she holds up an unsheathed sword; indicating that the arm of the law is long and at the end of it... is a deadly point! Quite ironic to think that 'Justice' is really maintained through the fear of bodily harm or confinement; the very essence of that which the law serves to prevent. The law keeps us in check, but who ultimately dictates what 'they' deem to be 'just'? Some higher power perhaps? A birthright? Or rather humanity itself? In fact, it is all of these combined. And just as there are many facets to the law, so too are there to the Sign of Libra and the 'Justice' card.
You see, there is so much to consider and reconsider in the course of being objective; in the process of achieving a fair outcome for all concerned. That is naturally why, in certain instances, it can take such a long time to reach a verdict.
When present in a reading, the 'Justice' card normally denotes a positive turn of events, that any legal dealings will have a favourable result, balance will be restored and the outcome to any pertinent situation will be amiable. Hence, if there are matters such as this hanging in the balance at this juncture, have faith.
If the querent is the one deliberating on the issue, know that every ounce of honour must be exerted in doing the right thing!

Among most astrology groups, there seems to be an almost suicidal urge to discredit themselves through ill-conceived actions, immature behaviour, and a lack of any concerted research efforts. - Malcolm Dean
