Dear Yolande. Thank you so, so very much for your wonderful, informative Newsletter. Thanks, a zillion I'll say - for all the aspects of thoughts and contemplations.

I am truly all excited about Tom Budge and his Hypnotherapy. Humbly saying, Hypnotherapy is a glaring archetypical example of the newest developments coming under the holistic treatment. And in its connection with all the different layers or levels of man's physio-psychic existence, it's somewhat more than just an archetype. Be it holistic, or para-scientific, in every cult or clan or community (or, as heard, even among some of the covens) - ever since man has started his expansive, evolving journey - hypnosis has been used to explore many aspects of man's psyche.

Hypnosis in the Indian Hindu Spiritualism has been named as Yoga Nidraa. It's a little obfuscated state, a sort of trance and yet not really the trance itself, rather a feeling with the least resistance or self-restriction... but not paralyzed or inactive deep in the conscience, rather an extension of the consciousness itself... As researched and determined, there lies a translucent state between transparent (staged as our conscious mind) and opaque (our unconscious mind), which, when attained, makes one lose all sensory control and get diluted in a state that can be called somewhat 'ethereal', or in other words, the ultimate sensory dopiness, in regard with his real, earthly operations. Now, the very juxtaposition of this translucent state or stage of mind, namely, Hypnosis, and to work over it, i.e., Hypnotherapy, and / or any such therapy as Aromatherapy, Touch-therapy, Magnet-therapy, Music-therapy, Color-therapy, Mirror-therapy, Sound-therapy or Echo-therapy, Light-therapy or Shadow-therapy, and some others - I would now humbly try to take the Astrological rather planetary turn of this whole discussion - have really lots to do with the natal planetary programming of the patient.

In Jungian philosophy, it has already been advocated how planetary vibrations can most properly be concatenated in regard with the treatment of different psychological misappropriation or derailment. Both in Western and Vedic, planets have their own governing areas as long as our senses and sensibilities are taken into consideration for any or every kind of bodily subsistence - explicit or implicit. One can directly test through the characteristically strong proclivities given, shown or specifically estimated by the planetary arrangement or combination in one's natal chart. Body and brain (mind) - be they expressive jointly in one case or (understandably) separately in the other -every single man shows his/ her (outer) sensitive tendencies through different sensory icons (organs). As allied to the senses, Mercury stands for Sight; Venus for Touch; Mars for Taste; Jupiter for Smell; Saturn for Hearing; Uranus for Inner Sight (Clairvoyance); and Neptune for Inner Touch (Psychometrics). Uranus and Neptune representing the higher octaves and dealing mainly with the extreme cases of man's psychical or bio-spiritual, evolutionary self, should be considered with much more developed practices and some careful skill and dexterity. A thorough research can also be made for the Inner Hearing or Clairaudience. All the sensory units are driven within and by CNS which is governed by Mercury. Both the natural (Zodiacal) 3rd (lower, subconscious mind) and 6th (transcendental, psychic mind) signs, Gemini and Virgo, are ruled by Mercury, called the 'Convertible Planet' and 'The Winged Messenger of the Gods'. Through Mercury, the radioactive ions from all the other planets come to the earthly atmosphere. Great personalities must have a really vibrant Mercury in their respective charts. Mercury and Uranus (higher octave of Mercury itself) should be significant in the charts for all kinds of therapists. Mercury (Budha in Vedic) representing both Intelligence (Buddhi-Manasa, in Vedic) and Intuition (Bodhi-Manasa), controls something that can be compared to the central processor of a computer - that can run a system effectively, accelerating as well as dilatory effects - both extrinsically and intrinsically, together, as if to tackle a dolt, a dullard and a mastermind at the same time. Besides being such access-free, Mercury controls the infiltration-system in one, which is absolutely necessary for a therapist as we should, at all costs, remember that doctors are often the worst and perhaps the most susceptible patients.

Warm regards,
Jayanta.

Among most astrology groups, there seems to be an almost suicidal urge to discredit themselves through ill-conceived actions, immature behaviour, and a lack of any concerted research efforts.
