Cynthia Thorburn is one of South Africa’s leading astrologers and teachers. She has been practising astrology for over twenty years, holds a Diploma (with distinction) with the Mayo School of Astrology and won the Roy Allin Award for the best paper world-wide.

She has attended the London Faculty's Oxford Summer School and has been published in their prestigious Astrology journal.

Cynthia is a founding member of ASSA and served as Chairperson for four years. She is now a director and honorary life member. She has had numerous articles published in ASSA’s magazine Aspects.

• A 2 hour class weekly. Two classes per week to choose from.
• No huge deposits – fees payable monthly.
• The course is held at Cynthia’s home studio in Brackenhurst, Alberton. It is easily reached via the M1 South or N3 East.
• Exams (optional): On successful completion of three papers, students are awarded the Diploma of the Thorburn School of Astrology.
• Although some calculations are taught in class in the interest of understanding computer printouts, manual calculations are not required for class work or exam papers.
• The Diploma equips you to pursue a career as a professional astrologer.
