Astrology: 30 Years Research E-mail
Written by Isabella Beyers

Angela Gibson truly is the angel of books incarnate. In between searching for another gem for my book collection at her table of delectables, and chatting to her about my inability to shed weight and get rid of the persistent eczema hound that gatecrashed my skin at puberty, she recommended this Astro-research book.

Of course before buying I had to test so I looked up Eczema:

Definition: inflammation of the skin with exudation of lymph

Natal: upper-octave planets prominent, and Venus prominent and severely afflicted.

Progressed: an aspect involving an upper-octave planet, and an aspect involving Venus, especially an aspect between Venus and an upper-octave planet.

Well, I have a prominent Venus- I’m double Taurus with Venus exalted in Pisces and conjunct Jupiter (which blows her out of proportion and is not necessarily a ‘good’ aspect). Also, besides for that conjunction my Venus is pretty much a loner except for a square to the North Node and a quindecile (Noel Tyl’s version) to Pluto…Book SOLD, simply because I had to get home to check progressions.

Would a transit of my North Node to Venus combined with aggressive Mars be enough to trigger the onset of this skin irritation? Maybe, maybe not but I was hooked and started looking up every ache and pain I’d ever had.

Alcoholism, Arthritis, Brother (death of), Cancer, Color Blindness, Constipation, Lumbago, Measles, Pleurisy, Stuttering, Suicide and Whooping Cough are all indexed concisely (no I haven’t suffered from all of the above but it was fun looking them up).

I also loved this kind of information:

Dancer:

Birthcharts of professional dancers analyzed: 100

Charts with Venus prominent: 100%

Charts with Moon prominent: 99%

Charts with Neptune prominent: 99%

Charts with Mars prominent: 98%

Charts with Mercury prominent 97%

Charts with Pluto prominent: 92%

Charts with 1st house prominent: 97%

Charts with planet in 1st house: 62%

Charts with 1st house more discordant than harmonious: 61%

Charts with 1st house more harmonious than discordant: 39%

Charts with 5th house active: 88%

Charts with planet in the 5th house: 52%

Charts with 5th house more discordant than harmonious (and vice versa): 50%

I have spent a couple of evenings finding evidence in everyone’s charts of dementia and mumps! As for the reliability of the research, I need some more convincing but that’s due to my own lack of time to check the details.

The chapters are well planned and the format is easy to read. The language and explanations are simple and will be easily understood by intermediary and advanced astrologers. The only thing left to say:

Add this book to your Christmas -Wish-List…enjoy!
