The husband, represented by Venus in Leo in the fifth is making a brilliant trine to Pluto in the ninth (foreign countries) - showing a life changing event. The immigration papers, of concern to the matter, are represented by Mercury in Scorpio, which will make a square (expect some difficulties) to Venus in just over 21 months. Also, with Mercury going retrograde soon after the question was posed, delays and difficulties are possible.

Now to the querent!

The Moon, being at 29 degrees of Gemini suggests a time of crisis for the querent. The moon is also void so as faras present concerns go, nothing seems to indicate that the querent is going to go ahead and look for a new job.
